Have fun and learn your Tables!
SEQUO is a card game for all children learning their number patterns and times tables.
- Dyslexia friendly
- Great fun!
Players are dealt a mixture of table cards which they keep secret from each other. Players then ask each other, in turn, for a particular card that they each need to make a Table set. They have to say the three special numbers within the Table sequence on the card in order to get it. The winner has the most sets at the end of the game.
This game can be played at basic and advanced levels.
For young children there is a Times Table number grid in the pack which they can refer to for answers.
Children learn the number patterns in a fun and lively way through play, visualisation and repetition.
Each pack includes:
- 44 Table cards for the game,
- 2 back to back instructions cards,
- 6 back to back teaching point cards with tricks about learning tables
- 3 back to back other teaching point cards about shapes, prime numbers and square numbers.
The game was devised and designed by a local, special needs teacher, Liz Edmondson-Smith, Cert Ed. RSA Dip SpLD AMBDA, who has taught in Wiltshire for many years.
The card game packs have been manufactured to a high standard by local card makers at Card Couture, Devizes.
